Projects completed using Bayden Engineering 3D CAD/CM design services.

PROJECTS

Bayden Engineering has created thousands of parts and assemblies across all engineering disciplines but primarily in the Aerospace sector. Showcased below are a few non-aerospace projects we completed.

HEAT Army Rollover Trainer

Bayden Engineering was proud to accomplish this task for the ARMY.

The project was to create a Humvee Rollover trainer for our troops should their vehicle be hit by an explosion. We had only 90 days to create the entire project including all electrical systems, wiring diagrams, circuit board design, and all structural design elements including both manufactured parts and purchased.

Baha'i Temple Woodwork and support sructure

Bayden Engineering was hired to design the metal support structure and formed wood elements for one of the most beautiful architectual structures in the world. Every piece of wood is a curved element requiring incredible amounts of custom tooling, fixturing and hand work tofabricate. The deliverables were 3D CAD datasets and 2D anotations required to cut, form and weld the aluminum ceiling support frames, ballustrade structures and all wooden elements. Everything was fabricated in North America, then shipped to the site in Chile as "kits" where each part was labelled for ease of installation.

RotoBall Motor

An offshoot company of Badencorp called "Searchmont" designed and fabricated a new motor concept based on spherical mapping.  The result was the "RotoBall". The benefits of this design are large torque for a small given volume.

4 Lobed, Rotary engine

Rotary Rubik

This was an experimental project using geometry from the rotoball concept being applied to a consumer product.
